An Apple Today!
The Pre-K 4 students learned about the five senses. One of the lessons involved tasting apples. From Granny Smith to Red Delicious, the students got to try them out!
"The children reviewed their knowledge of the senses as they were getting ready to taste different varieties of apples," said Pre-K 4 teacher Rose Ennis. "We are also learning the letter A this week!"
During the week, children tried apple juice and applesauce as well. They paid attention to the aroma, the texture, as well as the taste...as they exercised their senses.
"We were so proud that all of our children were willing to try each type of apple!" said Ms. Ennis.
